GENERAL TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF USE AND BOOKING

GPC HOLISTIC SPACE – Geneva Polo Club

These General Terms and Conditions of Use and Booking (hereinafter the "Terms") govern access, booking and use of the GPC Holistic Space facilities. 

Any booking made via the website or an associated platform constitutes full, complete and unconditional acceptance of these Terms.

1. OPERATOR IDENTITY

In collaboration with:  Unicorne SARL and EARL SCCF (an agricultural company based in Veigy Foncenex, France).  The three entities operate according to a collaborative agreement and are represented under the trade name “Holistic Space”.  The space is part of the regenerative farm (EARL SCCF) and is run in accordance with French legislation pertaining to agricultural activities and eco-tourism.  The other entities are providing services such as communications and other advisory but in no way does this collaboration constitute any form of sub-lease or other.   

The Holistic Space is represented by Mr. Coast Sullenger (manager and “exploitant” of EARL SCCF who is coordinator and operations manager.

2. PURPOSE

The purpose of these Terms is to define the conditions for making the GPC Holistic Spa facilities available (mise a disposition) on a private, temporary and non-exclusive basis, within an associative, ecological and non-commercial framework.

3. FACILITIES PROVIDED

Depending on the booking made, access may include:

  • Russian Banya (temperature between 75°C and 90°C)

  • Heated outdoor jacuzzi

  • Cold bath

  • Relaxation tipi (straw/hay and cushions)

  • Yurt (on request and subject to availability)

  • Wooded outdoor areas and yoga platform

  • Organic gardens

  • Yoga podium

⚠️ The water available on site is not potable.

4. CONDITIONS OF ACCESS AND BOOKING

  • Access is reserved for strictly personal and private use and in accordance with agricultural eco-tourism.

  • Any commercial activity, public event or paid service is prohibited without prior written authorization.

  • Standard time slots are offered in 3-hour sessions (morning, afternoon or evening), according to availability shown on the website.

  • A minimum technical interval of 1 hour is required between two groups.

  • Any time extension is subject to validation and billing according to the conditions published on the website.

5. PRICES – PAYMENT TERMS

The applicable prices are those published on the official website The Holistic Space (https://holisticspace.org) at the time of booking.

  • Prices are indicated inclusive of all taxes, unless otherwise stated.

  • Full payment is required to validate the booking.

  • The price includes the mandatory temporary membership to the GPC association (eco-tourism section).

No price dispute will be accepted after validation of the booking.

6. CANCELLATION POLICY

The following cancellation policy applies to all bookings:

  • Cancellation 7 or more days before the booking date: 50% refund of the total amount paid.

  • Cancellation within 7 days of the booking date: No refund.

All cancellation requests must be submitted via the scheduling platform (link in booking email). The date of receipt of the cancellation request will determine the applicable refund policy.

7. EQUIPMENT AND EXTRAS

All equipment and extras must be returned at the end of the session in the same condition as provided. A replacement charge will be applied for any items that are missing, damaged or not returned. The user will be informed of the applicable charges at the time of booking or upon request.

Users are encouraged to handle all provided equipment with care.

8. TEMPORARY MEMBERSHIP TO THE GENEVA POLO CLUB

Any and all bookings automatically result in the mandatory temporary membership of the user (client) to the Swiss Association GPC – Geneva Polo Club (eco-tourism section).  By agreeing to book and use the related services all clients acknowledge that they are temporary members of the association and must abide by all the terms and conditions of this association (the main relevant elements are highlighted in this document).  Clients are welcome to request the full statuts and conditions of the GPC membership by email:  holistic@genevapolo.com

This membership:

  • is strictly limited to the duration of the booking and the actual time of use of the GPC Holistic Spa;

  • is essential to access the site and facilities;

  • does not confer any permanent rights, voting rights or member status beyond the reserved time slot;

  • ends automatically and without formality at the end of the booking.

  • The user acknowledges that this temporary membership is included in the price, non-refundable, non-transferable and granted exclusively within a private, non-commercial and regulated framework.

9. RULES OF USE

Prohibitions

  • More than 6 people simultaneously in the Banya without notification and corresponding supplementary payment.

  • Swimming in the pond and use of the canoe

  • Dumping waste in nature

  • Commercial activities or events open to the public

  • Dangerous or improper use of facilities

Alcohol consumption is permitted in moderation only and like all other actions is the unique and total responsibility and risk of the client.

Obligations

  • Mandatory shower before access to the jacuzzi or cold bath

  • Strict compliance with instructions related to the wood stove (gloves provided) for adding wood.

  • Respect for arrival and departure times

  • Return of premises clean and tidy

Any breach may result in restoration fees and/or a subsequent booking ban.

10. NON-LIABILITY – WAIVER AND ACCEPTANCE OF RISKS

Use is entirely under personal responsibility, including in the case where minors (accompanied by parent or guardian) are present.

The user expressly acknowledges that use of the GPC Holistic Spa facilities is at their own risk and peril and that certain dangers do exist on site.

By validating their booking, they declare:

  • to be in good physical and mental condition;

  • to have no medical contraindication to exposure to intense heat, cold, humidity or thermal variations;

  • to have read the safety instructions and undertake to comply with them.

  • Agreement to assume all risks

Acceptance of inherent risks

The user acknowledges being informed and unconditionally accepts the inherent risks, including:

  • burns, steam projections, hot surfaces;

  • slips, falls, injuries;

  • drowning or fainting;

  • weather conditions and natural events;

  • insect bites, allergies, uneven natural terrain;

  • fire risks related to the wood stove or natural environment.

Limitation of liability

The GPC Holistic Spa, the GPC Association – Geneva Polo Club, associated entities (see above), their representatives, employees, volunteers or partners:

  • decline all liability in case of personal injury or material damage, loss or theft occurring during or after use of the facilities;

  • cannot be held liable in case of misuse, non-compliance with rules or reckless behavior by the user or their companions;

  • cannot be held liable in case of force majeure or unforeseeable natural events.

The Banya is reserved for healthy adults.

Waiver of recourse

The user remains fully responsible for themselves and the persons they accompany and expressly waives any recourse against the GPC Holistic Spa and the GPC association, except in cases of gross negligence or intentional misconduct legally established.

11. DAMAGE – DAMAGES

The user is responsible for any damage, loss or harm noted during their booking. Repair or replacement costs may be charged.

12. ACCEPTANCE OF CONDITIONS

Validation of an online booking constitutes:

  • acceptance of these Terms,

  • temporary membership to the GPC association,

  • express acceptance of the non-liability clause and the liability waiver.
